2018 Wrap Up

It has been a remarkable year for The Valley Community and we thank everyone for contributing to its success. Joint Venture Development partners, Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC), Hostplus and Hamton are making headway on The Valley of Tomorrow precinct while champion mare Winx made sporting history winning her fourth consecutive Cox Plate!

The Valley of Tomorrow’s first Annual Update event was held on December 5, 2018, where progress on the year was celebrated and discussed with local community members. Our First Annual Survey was a success with over 500 responses considered. Key findings were presented and are available to view here.

The world class precinct is progressing forward with the approval of the Stage A permit and with Stage B submitted to Council. The Stage A plans are available to view on The Valley of Tomorrow website here.

We look forward to what’s to come in the year ahead. We are excited to launch and unveil the precinct masterplan with you in the first half of 2019. To avoid confusion, we would like to let you know that the recent Moonee Valley Park brand and website is for precinct sales and marketing and the full website will go live in 2019 in line with project launch.

We also wish to let you know that the Childcare Centre, Nido Early School, construction is well on the way and is due to be finished in April 2019. It will hold 91 child places and is expected to open for business in mid 2019.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and we look forward to sharing more in the New Year!
