December 23, 2020 4:14 pmRenovations have been underway on the original Tote building built in 1931 situated within the Tote Park. The building is of historical significance to the MVRC and is being respectfully restored to its former glory as it transforms into a contemporary food and beverage offering that will be retained and managed by the Club.
The Tote building will feature prominently along the McPherson Street façade and includes prominent windows providing spectacular vantage points for diners. The design response unites the creative expertise of Samantha Eades Design and Field Office Architecture to deliver a design that shows reverence to the site’s proud racing history, while seamlessly providing an extension to appeal to modern audiences.
TOTE Bar & Dining will be operational in mid 2021.
